A Message From Our President ~
It is with much appreciation and a bit of trepidation that I begin my tenure as President of the Miami Valley Corvette Club.
Our former President, Stephen Knouff, has handed me the keys to a classic that has appreciated considerably under his stewardship. The Miami Valley Corvette Club (MVCC) has a great history and will celebrate their 41st Anniversary this year. Steve, we thank you for the many years of service and it is my hope that I can continue this legacy.
My wife and I met a couple members of the MVCC in 2008 and were invited to attend a club meeting. Upon attending the meeting we were impressed by the many attributes of the club. These include the longevity of the club - several founding members are still active in the club since 1974, the passion for Corvettes that was evident in the members and most importantly the friendliness and openness of the members. We have, in just a few years, become part of this family.
First and foremost, the MVCC is dedicated to racing, preserving, promoting and enjoying the Corvette. I am in agreement with my predecessor, Stephen Knouff, that we utilize our passion for the Corvette as a catalyst for social events ranging from dinners and car shows to road trips and racing events. We are also a club committed to making a difference in our community. We host an annual car show each year, with monies the car show generates, we give monetary donations to various local charities. The club has experienced a nice level of growth in recent years and we look forward to continuing that trend.
If you have a passion for Corvettes and would like to be part of a dynamic, caring and fun club; please feel free to contact myself or one of our members! Until then, see you on the road and don’t forget to wave.
